You are at the back of the stage with no lines to perform, but you are still an actor. Becoming the persona you wrote for yourself, quietly and unconsciously directing the complex nuances of your surrogate self. And, even if you can’t see yourself anymore, the audience are still watching. They saw you in the beginning, in the moments when you could still differentiate between the falsified and the true. Now they see you losing yourself to your own creation. Ruled from backstage by the fear and anger that blossomed in your angry tears.
